BC Class 3 13 Yr Old Empty Re: BC Class 3 13 Yr Old

Now I am concerned with this one and late growth

lowers are quite retrolcined - dento alveolar compensation....

Id leave the lowers....as if she grows.... she 'll need implants to replace the removed premolars

in the upper.... I d try non extraction - if we get some proclination then no issue

leave the UL2 out of the appliance and use push coil to make space

then when space, bone the UL2 with an inverted bracket

Also, is this another case where need to be careful about growth curve in class 3? She's very tall and already taller than older sister.

Hi Ian.

New ortho case came in. 13 year old doesn't want to wait 3 years for NHS.

Skeletal 3, inc LAFH
Buccal segments 1/2 unit class 3
Incisors slight class 3 reduced OJ, retroclined uppers and lowers.
Xbite upper laterals, slightly ectopic buccal UL3
Severe upper, mild lower crowding

My thought is:
- XLA U5s L4s
- U/L fixed appliance (switch lower canine brackets, possibly invert UL2 bracket for increased buccal root torque, class 3 elastics on working wire)

What do you think?
